Arc Experience in Southern California is seeking a Program Leader to support after-school programs, guiding students through social-emotional learning, homework help, enrichment activities, and new adventures.

This part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 2pm–6pm (varying by school) with a strong emphasis on safety, leadership, and creating engaging clubs; bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in after-school programs or youth recreation in diverse communities.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• Transcripts showing 48+ college credits or completion of proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, games, arts and crafts.
• Join indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising group dynamics.
• Oversee safety and wellbeing during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
