Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a part-time Program Leader to engage students after school, coordinate activities, and supervise daily routines at sites across Southern California. You will support social-emotional learning, homework help, and enrichment activities in collaboration with site staff.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of after-school experience, strong communication skills with kids and parents, and the ability to work with diverse student populations. Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• 48+ college credits or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids after school.
• Lead activities: homework help, recreation, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising groups.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.
