Job summary

Read Better Be Better is seeking an After-School Literacy Program Coach to deliver the literacy program at a school site in the Union School District, Phoenix, AZ. The role requires facilitating activities for up to 32 students, tracking attendance, and ensuring program materials are ready and organized.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy interacting with children and motivating groups of up to 32 students.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and training before placement.
• Prepare program materials and attend to attendance.
• Facilitate activities from the curriculum during each session.
• Encourage student participation and maintain program structure.
• Wrap up sessions and store materials for next use.
• Train and monitor student Leaders as needed.
• Communicate with school staff and Program Coordinator.
• Attend weekly coach meetings and mandatory team meetings.
