Read Better Be Better is hiring a part-time After-School Literacy Program Coach to guide a group of young Readers and Leaders at a Creighton School District site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires engaging elementary students after school, following our literacy curriculum, and supporting a positive learning atmosphere.

You will receive training prior to starting and participate in weekly coordinator meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred candidates are enrolled in a relevant degree program or have experience working with children in a school setting.
• Classroom management skills and a patient personality are key components.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the after-school literacy program sessions.
• Mentor a cohort of Readers and Leaders in the BBBB curriculum.
• Maintain curriculum progress and a safe, welcoming learning environment.
