Job summary

Read Better Be Better in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an After-School Literacy Program Coach to support our literacy and leadership initiative in elementary school settings. As a part-time Program Coach you will deliver activities from our curriculum, manage attendance, and help up to 32 students engage with reading and collaborative projects after school.

Flexibility 5–10 hours per week during the school year, with training provided; paid hourly between $18 and $21, plus opportunities for merit-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card; reimbursed by RBBB.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and training before site placement.
• Prepare and maintain program materials for student arrival.
• Take class attendance and manage student participants.
• Deliver activities from the curriculum during each session.
• Encourage student participation and engagement.
• Follow RBBB procedures and program structure.
• Wrap up sessions and store materials securely.
• Train and monitor student Leaders as needed.
• Communicate with school staff to optimize student experience.
• Share program successes and challenges with the Program Coordinator.
