Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic Cheer and Dance Coaches to work with elementary students in after-school programs across Prince George's County, MD.

This part-time, after-school opportunity runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions. Coaches follow a structured curriculum, create a fun and inclusive learning environment, and help students stay active and engaged while gaining valuable mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, gymnastics, or a related activity.
• Comfortable with children in grades K through 5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must complete the Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
