Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic After‑School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary-aged students in fun, structured enrichment programs throughout Prince George's County.

This is a part-time, after-school position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 1.5-hour sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at $45 per session ($30 per hour). No weekends, no lesson planning required, curriculum and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, gymnastics, or a related activity is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
