Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking a Cheer and Dance Coach for after-school programs in Prince George's County. The role involves teaching Cheer and Dance to elementary students, following a set curriculum, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The position is part-time, Monday to Friday, 1:00–5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions. No lesson planning required; curriculum and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, gymnastics, or related activity is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with elementary students (K–5).
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer and Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
