Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary students in Prince George's County. This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions, in-person across local schools.

Ideal candidates are college students studying Physical Education, Kinesiology, Dance, or related fields and value hands-on youth development experience. Curriculum and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, gymnastics, or related activity preferred.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K–5.
• Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA Afterschool's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
