Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary students in Prince George's County. The role offers a part-time, after-school schedule, with 1.5-hour sessions on weekdays and a pay of $45 per session ($30 per hour).

No weekends and curriculum is provided, enabling you to focus on instruction and student engagement. Ideal candidates are pursuing education-related majors and seek practical experience in youth development, coaching, and classroom

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Cheer and/or Dance is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with elementary students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.
• Must complete the required background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Cheer/Dance activities to elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
