Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. in Hyattsville is seeking energetic college students to coach Cheer and Dance for elementary students in after-school enrichment programs across Prince George's County.

This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, with sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, lasting 1.5 hours each. Curriculum is provided, no lesson planning is required, and you will gain leadership, communication, and classroom management skills in a positive, active setting.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, gymnastics, or a related activity is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with elementary school children (K–5) across schools in Prince George's County
• Reliability, punctuality, and dependable transportation to multiple sites across Prince George's County

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
