Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A college degree is required.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen will be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor entry, maintain access-related records.
• Respond to access control alarms and incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to identify unusual activity and unsecured entries.
• Help protect sensitive technology infrastructure by enforcing entry requirements and reporting policy violations.
