Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check to comply with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access to utility facilities by verifying credentials and maintaining entry records.
• Issue access credentials as authorized and report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
