Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Entry Control in Three Rivers, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor access at a chemical/petrochemical location while maintaining a visible presence and documenting activities using computer-based systems.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, security experience, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds; a computer/tablet fluency is preferred, with customer service experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements; communicate access concerns and/or unauthorized entry attempts to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
