Job summary

Allied Universal in De Soto, KS is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Access Control Driver. You will manage access at a commercial real estate site, conduct routine patrols, assist tenants and visitors, and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Communicate professionally with property management and onsite personnel; document incidents.
