Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Compliance in El Paso, TX. This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour and the schedule runs DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. Responsibilities include enforcing access control, distributing visitor passes, and maintaining logs while providing customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, deliveries, access-control events, incidents, and shift activities.
