Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team on a part-time fee-for-service basis. You will implement behavior support plans and provide ABA-based instruction under the direction of a BCBA.

You will monitor and data-track client behavior and report findings to the BCBA, while collaborating with families for meaningful progress. The role requires after-school and evening availability, a valid driver's license, and a compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 24 months experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Or an associate degree or higher in a related field with 12 months experience with this population.
• Or RBT certification with 12 months experience with this population.
• Must be 21 years or older per MA ABA program requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access.
• Availability after school, evenings and late evenings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to reduce problematic behaviors.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills.
• Monitor client behavior and collect data, then report to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to support meaningful changes in behavior.
