Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team and help implement behavior support plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role focuses on collecting data, monitoring behaviors, and delivering ABA-based instruction to promote skill development. Requires availability after school and some evenings, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 24 months of experience in developmental disabilities or related populations (children/adolescents/families).
• Associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline with 12 months experience in developmental disabilities or related populations.
• RBT certification with 12 months experience in developmental disabilities or related populations.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction.
• Monitor client behavior and collect data; report data to supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBA and family to support meaningful behavior changes.
