Job summary

The University of North Texas - Dallas is seeking a Parking & Transport Services Manager to lead on-campus parking and transportation operations, manage staff and budgets, and coordinate shuttle services. This role oversees policy development, data-driven planning, and external partnerships to ensure safe, efficient access for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

A 1.0 FTE position requires a Bachelor's degree and several years in parking/transport, with strong leadership and customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and four years of experience in parking and transportation services or related field.
• Knowledge of parking policies, practices, and financial systems.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages special event parking, customer service, permit management, marketing/communications, and departmental policies.
• Manages parking lots and assigns parking spaces for faculty, staff, students, visitors, and contractors.
• Directs the parking management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Coordinates shuttle services for the campus.
• Collects and analyzes data to support long-range parking and transportation planning.
• Oversees the university vehicle rental program.
• Collaborates with the Executive Director of Auxiliary Services to plan strategies for generating resources.
• Recruits, hires, trains, schedules, evaluates, and coaches student employees.
• Assists with safety and policy implementation while maintaining compliance.
