Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Parking Attendant in Arlington, VA to manage lot flow, assist customers, and keep the site clean and presentable. You’ll work on-site, in uniform, and represent the brand with courteous service.

Responsibilities include directing traffic at entrances and exits, answering questions, reporting accidents or hazards, and supporting the Facility or Senior Manager with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than high school or minimal related experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability for second/third shift and weekends may be required.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Uniform and neat appearance required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate number of cars is kept on location during shift.
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Report accidents or safety hazards or policy violations to management.
• Notify management of debris or spills.
• Know major streets and landmarks in the area.
• Assist management with other duties as needed.
