Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, hires a parking attendant in the New York area to manage on-site vehicle flow and customer assistance. You will guide drivers to spaces, monitor lot activity, and enforce garage policies with professional conduct.

Requirements include a minimal education, a valid driver's license if driving company vehicles, and availability for second/third shifts and weekends as needed. Uniforms must be worn and maintained, and safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Language skills to read and present information.
• Basic arithmetic with money for transactions.
• Maintain neat appearance and uniform.
• Customer service oriented with clear communication.
• Willingness to work second/third shift and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be on time and in uniform for every scheduled shift.
• Answer questions and direct customers to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks.
• Report accidents or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Know area garage layout, streets, landmarks and freeways.
• Support the Facility Manager with other duties.
