Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Traffic Control Attendant to manage entry/exit flow and keep the lot safe and presentable. You will answer questions, direct traffic, and report incidents during your shift.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to stand for long periods, and availability for second/third shifts and weekends. This is a full-time role with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Less than High School education or 1 month related experience required.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appropriate number of cars on location during shift.
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to the Facility or Senior Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills and other hazards to management.
• Have thorough knowledge of major streets and landmarks in the area.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
