Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
• Availability to Work: Some locations require 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic using money.
• Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance in uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts to ensure order.
• Assist customers who have trouble finding their vehicle and provide directions.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled shift.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of parking equipment and other tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
