Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking dedicated staff at our Arlington, VA location to manage parking flow, guide customers, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the lot. You will count vehicles, issue warnings for violations, and assist in maintenance and operations under the Facility Manager.

The role requires punctuality, a neat appearance, and the ability to handle basic math and driving requirements. Weekend availability may be needed in a dynamic parking environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability: Special shift requirements; may include 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Language Skills: Ability to read simple instructions, memos.
• Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, and handle money.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, uniform.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policies.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be on time and in uniform for scheduled days.
• Direct customers to Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks.
• Report accidents and safety hazards to Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and issues to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when needed.
