Job summary

The City of Grand Rapids is seeking a Parking Facilities Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance of Mobile GR parking ramps, lots, and related infrastructure. You will supervise staff, schedule work, conduct quality inspections, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You’ll coordinate seasonal maintenance bids, manage asset registries, plan capital projects, and work with vendors. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business management, accounting, or related field.
• Four years' experience managing multi-unit, revenue-generating facilities.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of maintenance staff; approves timesheets and schedules.
• Conducts monthly team meetings and reviews performance.
• Ensures safety compliance and provides training to staff.
• Coordinates with vendors for repairs and seasonal services.
• Plans and manages capital projects with oversight.
• Maintains asset registry and conducts facility inspections.
