Job summary

City of Grand Rapids seeks a Parking & Mobility Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the city’s parking system, including on-street and off-street, shared mobility, and enforcement.

The role leads field operations, develops SOPs, manages budgets, and ensures safe, equitable, and financially sustainable services, while guiding staff and reporting performance to the Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, public transportation or related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible supervisory/ managerial parking system experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee City parking operations and shared mobility programs.
• Lead field operations, enforcement, dispatch and special events teams.
• Develop SOPs, budgets, revenue tracking and performance reports.
• Ensure safety and equitable, customer-centered operations.
• Administer contracts and participate in RFPs for related services.
• Provide staff training and stay updated on industry best practices.
