Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, hires a cashier in Atlanta to provide a smooth parking experience. You will handle payments, issue tickets, and guide customers to their destinations while maintaining cash controls and friendly service.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, handling receipts, and resolving issues with a supervisory support when needed. Flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements; may include 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle.
• Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide, make change.
• Language skills: Read, write and present information to customers and employees.
• Reasoning ability: Apply common sense to follow instructions and resolve problems.
• Other skills and abilities: Use clock, calculator or credit card machine for transactions; maintain demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness while delivering SP+ service.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and ready to assist customers.
• Count bank revenue at shift start and maintain cash security.
• Collect cash/validations and issue receipts or tickets.
• Compute bills and display costs on the cash register.
• Quote prices for parking services and provide directions to locations.
• Complete lost ticket forms and handle customer complaints with supervisor help.
• Answer phone promptly and keep booth clean.
• Record shift transactions and prepare daily reports.
