Job summary

SP+ in Atlanta is hiring a cashier to deliver a smooth, friendly check-in experience for parking customers. You will handle payments, issue tickets, provide directions, and help keep the booth clean and organized.

The role requires reliability, basic math, and the ability to handle busy periods, with potential 2nd or 3rd shifts and weekend work. Training covers cash handling, safety, and SP+ standards, and the company offers benefits and a tip-eligible position.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license if required to drive a company vehicle.
• Availability for 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and make change.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each interaction delivers on the SP+ Promise of making every moment matter.
• Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform, and ready to assist customers.
• Counts 'bank' of revenue at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is correct.
• Collects cash and/or validations and maintains security of cash.
• Makes change and issues receipts or tickets to customer for each transaction.
• Operates cash register after time calculation (manually or by machine), calculates cost or transaction and displays cost of customer transaction on cash register.
• Gives directions to city locations and assists customers, ensuring they get where they are going easily and efficiently.
• Completes lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
• Resolves customer complaints quickly and efficiently, asking a supervisor for assistance when needed.
• Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintains cleanliness of booth and picks up trash in the surrounding area.
