Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, seeks a parking attendant for on-site operations in El Segundo, CA. You will direct customers, guide vehicles, and maintain orderly lot conditions during shifts at multiple locations across the region.

Responsibilities include counting vehicles, issuing warnings for violations, assisting customers with parking and locating their cars, and supporting garage maintenance. Requires reliable, punctual attendance and a neat uniform.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination.
• License: Valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if driving a company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements; may include 2nd/3rd shift or weekends.
• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence.
• Math: Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts and assist customers.
• Help customers who forgot where they parked their vehicle.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled shift.
• Assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as required.
• Support maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks per the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
