Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a Parking Attendant in Brooklyn. You will direct customers to spaces, count vehicles, and issue warnings while keeping the lot clean and presentable.

You’ll also patrol levels on foot or in carts and assist drivers who have mislaid their vehicles, ensuring safety and policy compliance. Strong communication and reliable attendance are essential, with availability for second/third shifts and possible weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as stated: less than high school or limited related experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license if required to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends as needed.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts.
• Assist customers who have forgotten where they parked.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist with maintenance of parking equipment.
