Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, seeks a dedicated parking attendant to help keep locations staffed, safe, and welcoming. You will guide customers to spaces, count vehicles, and enforce garage rules while maintaining a neat appearance and timely attendance.

You will also assist in basic maintenance, respond to incidents, and coordinate with the Facility Manager to ensure smooth operations across shifts. Flexibility for 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, present information one-on-one.
• Mathematical Skills: addition, subtraction, simple money calculations.
• Appearance: neat, clean, uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts, if applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked their vehicle.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled day.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general tasks.
• Report accidents, violations, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and issues to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when authorized.
• Develop thorough knowledge of garage areas, streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
