Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer in Orange, CA. The role involves patrolling streets and lots to ensure compliance with parking policies and providing excellent customer service to the public.

You will issue citations, assist with meters and pay-on-foot machines, and help with event parking, signage, and equipment maintenance. The job requires the ability to work independently in all weather conditions and maintain a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong customer service and geographic knowledge.
• Ability to operate a handheld computer and parking equipment.
• Able to drive a motorized vehicle or bicycle and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages or campus to enforce parking policies.
• Provide directions and answer questions about parking policies.
• Issue citations or warnings and manage towing/relocation as directed.
• Assist with maintenance and setup of parking equipment and signs.
• Assist in permit sales data entry and frontline customer service.
• Support event staffing and traffic control as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
