Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, operates the largest parking network in America and uses smart parking tech to keep traffic moving without tickets or cards. The role of Parking Enforcement Officer supports on-site and street operations in California, ensuring policy compliance and public safety.

You will patrol designated areas, assist customers, issue citations when needed, and help with parking equipment and event-related parking.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license with current address.
• Ability to work alone with sound judgment.
• Availability for second/third shifts and weekends.
• Knowledge of local geography and parking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages and campuses to enforce parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions on directions, events, locations and policies.
• Issue citations/warnings for non-compliance; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Assist maintenance with parking equipment and lot upkeep, including meters and signs.
• Assist in collecting parking revenues from meters and pay-on-foot systems.
• Assist event staff with parking for events and lot usage control.
• Assist with permit sales data entry and frontline customer service.
• Other related duties as assigned.
