Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Parking Attendant to monitor facilities, enforce rules, and assist guests outdoors in all weather. You will operate handheld devices to document activity and issue parking invoices.

The role requires independence, safety focus, and a willingness to pass background checks; you must be 21+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using handheld devices and basic technology (training provided).
• Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs throughout a shift.
• Ability to work in and around moving vehicles and active traffic areas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor parking facilities, streets, garages, and surface lots to ensure compliance with posted parking rules
• Issue parking invoices and accurately document vehicle and parking activity using handheld technology
• Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions, parking information, and general support
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, vandalism, or equipment issues
• Report unauthorized parking, operational concerns, hazards, and unusual activity
• Help ensure parking equipment, signage, and pay stations remain visible and in good condition
• Support special events, peak traffic periods, and other operational needs as assigned
• Promote a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members
