Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, seeks a Parking Enforcement Officer in Aurora, CO. The role requires patrolling streets, lots, and campuses to enforce parking rules, issue citations, and assist customers. You will work Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am–4:30pm, earning $20 per hour.

A valid driver’s license and ability to work in varied weather are essential. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Must understand local parking regulations and geography.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Experience using handheld computers for tickets or data entry.
• Strong customer-service orientation and diplomacy.
• Able to walk or stand for extended periods in varying weather.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages, and campuses to enforce parking policies.
• Answer questions about directions, events, locations, and policies.
• Issue citations and warnings; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work independently with sound judgment and professional demeanor.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep.
• Assist in current revenue collection and safety measures at meters and pay machines.
• Support event staff with parking logistics and lot usage during events.
• Support permit sales via data entry and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
