Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring for a parking attendant in Rye Brook, NY. You will direct customers to spaces, patrol levels, and help locate vehicles. The role emphasizes strong customer service, punctuality, and neat appearance while performing site operations.

You'll need a valid driver’s license, the ability to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, and the stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience.
• License: valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work: 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language: ability to read, write, and convey information simply.
• Mathematical: basic arithmetic with money.
• Appearance: neat, complete uniform.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be punctual and in uniform every scheduled day.
• Assist customers and refer to Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment as directed.
• Report incidents and hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Know garage areas, major streets, landmarks and freeways.
