Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, in Walnut Creek, California, is hiring a Parking Attendant to ensure proper car flow, assist customers, and keep the lot clean and safe. You will direct traffic, count vehicles, and issue warnings for policy violations during shifts.

The role requires basic reading/writing, a valid driver's license if driving company vehicles, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience, training or an equivalent combination.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required depending on location.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math with money.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, uniform required.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or via motor cart if applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be punctual and in uniform every scheduled day.
• Assist customers and refer to Facility Manager as needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits as required.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks as directed.
• Report accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.

Education
