Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work: special shift requirements; may include 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Language Skills: ability to read and understand simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic with money.
• Appearance: neat, clean in uniform.
• Physical Demands: stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts, if applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be on time and in uniform for scheduled shifts.
• Assist customers and route to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
