Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company in Tempe, AZ, is hiring for a parking attendant. You will guide customers to spaces, count vehicles, and issue warnings for policy violations while patrolling garages and maintaining order.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work various shifts including weekends, and a neat uniform. Compensation is $18.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid state driver's license and clean driving record if driving company vehicle.
• Availability: May require 2nd/3rd shift and weekends depending on location.
• Language: Ability to read, write simple correspondence and present information.
• Mathematical: Basic arithmetic with dollars and cents.
• Appearance: neat, clean, and uniform at all times.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with motor carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Maintain punctuality and wear the uniform.
• Assist customers and route questions to the Facility Manager as needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and other tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety issues to the Facility Manager.
• Know all garage areas, streets, landmarks and freeways nearby.
• Support the Facility Manager with additional duties.
