Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Parking Attendant in Chicago to support daily parking operations with a strong customer-service focus. You will help maintain professional image, assist customers, and ensure operations stay within contractual guidelines.

The role involves routine location management tasks, incident reporting, and basic maintenance of equipment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimal related experience or training.
• Clear oral communication and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle delays or unexpected events.
• Sound and accurate judgment in daily tasks.
• Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license if driving on company business.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
• Assist with management duties as assigned.
• Courteously assist customers.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
• Substitute for any position, if necessary.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
• Complete other duties as needed.
