Job summary

Indy is seeking an Assistant Park Manager to oversee programs, facilities, and personnel in the park location when the Park Manager is away. The role supports development of diverse recreational offerings including aquatics, sports, arts, youth programs, and camps, and may involve aquatic duties depending on site.

You will assist in budgeting, contracts, partnerships, and staff training to meet community needs and park goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years experience in Recreation or related field.
• CPR and First Aid Teaching Certificate and various licenses/certifications may be required or preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of programs, services, facilities, and personnel at the designated park location in the absence of the Park Manager.
• Assist design and implementation of recreational programs across aquatics, sports/fitness, arts, youth and family, seniors, special needs, and day camps.
• Assist in development and management of fiscal resources, contracts, and partnerships for the park.
