Job summary

City of Indianapolis Marion County's Indy Parks is seeking a daily supervisor for sports, programs, services and facilities at assigned park locations. You will supervise recreational programming, manage staff, schedule classes, and ensure quality customer service to park users.

Responsibilities include program development, budgeting and reporting, maintaining equipment, and enforcing rules. Must be able to work weekends/evenings/holidays and obtain relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage programs, staff, and facilities with professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, planning, directing, implementation and coordinating a wide variety of recreational events.
• Schedule classes and assist in planning; supervise and coordinate recreational programs.
• Enforce policies, handle discipline, and provide excellent customer service to park users.
• Open/close facilities and ensure security of park assets.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of sites and manage equipment and supplies.
