Job summary

Orange County Government is seeking a Park Operations Supervisor to lead staff in daily park operations, ensure safety, and oversee maintenance and revenue processes. The role requires CDL eligibility, CPR/First Aid training, and a commitment to evenings/weekends.

Bachelor’s in Parks and Recreation preferred. Responsibilities include supervising teams, managing facility upkeep, and coordinating inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience in park operations, grounds maintenance, building/facility maintenance or janitorial/custodial.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends and possess/maintain Florida CDL for equipment operated; CPR and First Aid within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and volunteers in day-to-day park operations.
• Manage revenue collection and purchases using P-card.
• Open/close sites and ensure park safety and maintenance.
• Enforce safety rules for staff and visitors.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and equipment operations.
