Montgomery County (PA) is seeking a Park Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at a County Park, supervising staff and coordinating with volunteers and partner groups. The role includes budget and reporting duties, safety oversight, and ensuring a high-quality park experience.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, five years of Parks/Recreation experience with supervisory duties, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in Parks/Recreation, Wildlife Management or Environmental Resource Management with supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Park Management or related field.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and maintain driving record.
  • Must be able to read/write/speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily park operations in line with best practices and standards for parks and environmental stewardship.
  • Assist Region Manager with site administration including budget, scheduling, payroll, and reports.
  • Supervise grounds and building maintenance staff in coordination with Region Manager.
  • Coordinate with volunteers, friends groups, and outside partners.
  • Provide staff training on County policies and procedures and support marketing efforts.
