North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician III to maintain state parks, grounds, buildings and equipment, supporting rangers and staff on custodial, trail, mowing, and facility tasks.

The role requires the ability to lift, work outdoors, obtain certifications, and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends; a valid US driver's license is needed within 90 days.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED plus two years of related maintenance experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled tasks in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and auto mechanics.
• Operate various large and small tools and equipment.
• Purchase resources according to state purchasing policies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records and prepare operational forms.
• Assist in housekeeping and supervise staff/volunteers on projects.
