Job summary

St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Conshohocken, PA, seeks a part-time Parish Business Manager (15–20 hours/week) to support day-to-day operations, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The role reports to the Pastor and works with office staff to manage parish finances and events.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, handle confidential matters with tact, and communicate clearly with parish leadership. A practicing Catholic with dedication to Church service is required.

Qualifications

• Prior related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and office software.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and discretion.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others.
• Practicing Catholic who loves the Church and serving others.

Responsibilities

• HR support including payroll, retirement, and benefits.
• Insurance coordination and property matters.
• Bookkeeping, check writing, and account reconciliation.
• 1099 forms processing.
• Oversee online donations and parish accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist Finance committee with financials and minutes.
• Coordinate with the Office Assistant on parish operations and events.
• Maintain parish donor database and calendar.
• Assist in coordination of capital projects per Archdiocesan policies.
