Job summary

Meta House in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Parenting Skills Coach to provide individualized coaching and referrals to clients with substance use and/or mental health needs and their families across the continuum of care.

You will assess parenting and family needs, develop resource-focused plans, help access benefits, coordinate childcare, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support families, including record keeping and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related fields required.
• Experience working with clients and families with co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of child protective services, WIC and W2 benefits, and school systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual parenting skills to an assigned caseload.
• Assess parenting and family needs; develop skill-building and resource-focused plans.
• Assist clients with accessing benefits and coordinating childcare and appointments.
• Coordinate visits and advocate with caregivers, child welfare and partners.
• Facilitate parenting education and related programs; participate in team meetings.
