Meta House in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to provide recovery coaching and trauma-informed, strength-based planning for individuals across the continuum of care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, attend supervision, and advocate for clients while leveraging lived experience to inspire hope and connect people with community resources.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Personal lived experience with mental health challenges or substance use challenges.
• WI Certified Peer Specialist and DHS 72 training.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and ability to drive agency vehicles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of community resources; proficiency with Epic Connect and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary Peer Support to an assigned caseload with trauma-informed recovery planning.
• Coach clients to increase skills, coping, and problem solving; support task follow-through.
• Connect clients with community resources and advocate for resolution of challenges.
• Plan, develop, and facilitate groups.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team; communicate with colleagues via phone/email/in person.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend required meetings and clinical supervision; adhere to ethical guidelines.
