Job summary

Wellpoint Care Network in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Family Recovery Supervisor to lead a team of Parent Recovery Mentors and Family Recovery Coaches within an integrated dyad model supporting child welfare, treatment, and community systems.

The role focuses on delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services, supervising staff, coordinating services, and promoting family safety and reunification through data-informed practice and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years in child welfare or related family-serving systems.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child safety, family preservation, and court processes.
• Ability to supervise coaching and lived-experience mentoring roles.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Travel within Wisconsin may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises department personnel including hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Ensures role boundaries, confidentiality, documentation standards, and safety expectations.
• Educates staff on policies and procedures.
• Meets regularly to identify problems, manage projects, and review workflows.
• Provide consultation on family engagement, treatment access, and reunification goals.
• Build collaborative relationships with child welfare, courts, and providers.
• Promote family voice and trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
