Job summary

You will guide new residential clients and their children through intake, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and facilitate treatment groups to support recovery. Role requires experience with substance use disorders, residential settings preferred, and licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor or eligibility for LPC-IT/APSW.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorder.
• Experience in a residential setting preferred.
• Substance Abuse Counselor or higher licensure; LPC-IT or APSW eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all new residential admissions and their children; orient clients to Meta House services, provide tour/introductions, and ensure clients feel welcomed.
• Complete all required admission paperwork, including intake forms, biopsychosocial assessment and DSM-based diagnoses, and ASAM level of care placement.
• Plan, develop, and facilitate groups.
• When needed, provide supportive care to individual clients in collaboration with their primary therapist.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform all required record keeping and paperwork, accurately and timely.
• Attend required meetings and clinical supervision.
